This event was designed as a unique opportunity for players, as it highlights the existing talents in any given region; it gathers the best players that are close to graduating from High school or that are in their first college semesters. These talented youngsters have the possibility of being awarded scholarships in world renowned institutions. American talent recruiters from top ranking universities and with experience in soccer formation will observe and consider the most prominent athletes and will offer them the chance to prepare themselves in some of the most competitive colleges in the USA.
The event had an very successful first edition in Colombia, in May 2011; over 100 players were showcased, with 7 coaches from different institutions in the US being present (such as the University of Akron, Cuyahoga Community College, University of Tulsa, among others), and of those, 15 players were chosen for the scholarships.
